Miramare castle long time ago.

I have found this little photo (6x6 cm) in a fliehmarket in Berlin two years ago, I was so surprise to find it. The girl, a relaxed tourist maybe in honeymoon or family trip, stays in front of Castello Miramare, the famous castle by the see of my hometown Trieste.
In this castle lived Ferdinand Maximilian von Österreich the brother of Kaise Franz Joseph I.. He loved the sea and wanted to have his home by the sea.
He was shot in Mexico during the war.
Here a photo of him and his beloved Sophie Friederike von Bayern -----really wrong!! That was her mother and Franz Joseph was his brother!!
His beloved was Charlotte von Belgien!
